A Change of Plans

We had another wonderful visit this morning!  Little F shared a few smiles and even walked back and forth from Mommy to Daddy. We even managed to feed him a little bit of his formula.  He is so attached to his nannies. We're so thankful for the way they have loved him.

Our sweet driver translated as we shared photos with Y and S. He explained that they have 3 brothers and a sister waiting at home for them.  Giggles filled the room as they flipped trough the pages pronouncing their new siblings names.

Man, oh man! We are amazed with how these 3 have captured our hearts.  When they were born on the other side of the world, we were living our life with no idea of their existence.

Today our devotional from Jesus Calling focused on Proverbs 19:21.
Many are the plans in a person's heart, but it is the Lord's purpose that prevails.

These three were not part of our plan, but we can't even imagine our family without them! We praise our great God for the way in which only He could author this story!  Praise Him! Praise Him!

Love to you all at home, and thank you for the continued prayers!

The view of Addis Ababa from our room.  We wish we could share all of the sounds of this city with you.

Gifts that Continue to Give!

Our first event and debut of 4ONE was more than we could have ever imagined!  Just over a month ago, a conversation began with, "What if we had a home show where we could sell handmade items and use that format to raise awareness for orphans and funds to help in some way."  MANY owls, Christmas balls, and lots of gifts later...our Christmas Bazaar to benefit the children in Swaziland was underway.

We were simply amazed with the number of volunteers that helped to pull this first event off!  Our prayer all along was that God would prompt the hearts of those the He wanted to be there, and He would lead us through this process.  In the end, we wanted each person to leave with a tangible way that they could do something to make a difference 4ONE.

Well...

tshirts arrived in time!
gifts were sold.
shoppers were plentiful!
lots of new people learned about the children of Swaziland!
4 lives were directly affected with 4 new sponsorships!!!

Our hearts are overflowing with gratitude for the opportunity to be used as a voice for the orphan.  Where will God lead us next???

Continue to follow our blog and look for updates to our website.

Until then, you may purchase tshirts by contacting us at mwiley36@comcast.net.
We will be happy to ship one of our 4ONE t's to you for $25 (includes shipping). If you are local, we will deduct the shipping!
Thank you, Chris Rucker, from KRUHU Design.

Here we go!

We're seeing the light at the end of the tunnel, and we aren't really sure if it is excitement or anxiety that we feel at this point.  Our prayer has been that 4 One's development process would glorify God and that we wouldn't take one step without Him.  It has been amazing to see details that I have been worked out and trust in additional details that need to be taken care of.

Our first blog post is simply a prayer that has been part of this journey from the first time we began planning our first trip to visit the orphans in Swaziland, Africa...
This ministry is yours, Lord.
We seek you and trust you, Lord, to build it!
Let us not labor in vain.
Psalm 127:1

Each of you that reads this and begins to act...you are part of the building process and rejoice in the craftsmanship of our God!  To Him be the glory and praise!
